Today's PowerPoint on world agriculture weather is focused on the problems coming for Brazil during the next ten days. Not enough moisture will fall and record or near-record heat is expected which may cut production potentials. Some of the driest areas in northern Brazil will experience serious crop moisture and heat stress during the coming week that may lead to some additional early season crop loss and will certainly set back crop development for a while. Some of the driest areas may not plant much during this period either until rain chances improve.
