- A blocking weather pattern remains over central Canada and will prevent rain from impact the eastern Prairies after Thursday morning for at least the next ten days
- Some drying will evolve in the northern Midwest as a result of the blocking pattern as well
- rain will return to the lower Midwest, southern Plains, Delta and southeastern states next week as cool and dry air overtakes the Midwest
