WORLD WEATHER HIGHLIGHTS FOR OCTOBER 15, 2023
- Torrential rain fell in Vietnam central coastal areas during the weekend with more coming
- Western Australia will stay dry for the next ten days
- Western Europe will turn much wetter later this week through next week
- Northern India is expecting some welcome rain for winter crop planting
- Argentina weather will continue drier biased for another week, but rain may increase next week
- Center west Brazil will receive erratic rain this week and may trend wetter late this month
- Southeastern Europe will be dry biased for the next ten days as it has been for a while
- Ukraine and Russia’s Southern Region will gradually trend wetter over the next two weeks easing long term dryness
- New tropical cyclone may evolve in the tropical Atlantic Ocean this week while Tropical Depression Sean dissipates
- Tropical cyclone may evolve in the eastern Pacific Ocean later this week and my move across central or interior northern Mexico early next week
- Northern U.S. Midwest was wet during the weekend as expected
- Lower eastern U.S. Midwest is drier for this week than previously suggested
- U.S. hard red winter wheat areas will continue rain free for another week along with the Pacific Northwest
- Ontario and Quebec will turn too wet again later this week and into the weekend
