WORLD WEATHER HIGHLIGHTS FOR FEBRUARY 25, 2024
- Southeast Asia is advertised wetter than late last week
- North Africa rainfall is a little lighter than that advertised Friday over the next two weeks
- France, northern Spain and northern Italy are advertised to become a little too wet
- Drying will continue in Ukraine and Russia’s Southern Region the next ten days and perhaps longer
- Ivory Coast coffee and cocoa areas are wetter for this coming weekend into next week than suggested Friday
- Interior southern Brazil is a little drier for the coming ten days than advertised late last week
- Argentina weather has not changed much from that of last week
- Argentina and Brazil weather will be mostly good during the next ten days with the drier bias in interior southern Brazil good for fieldwork
- Northern Brazil will remain a little too wet for a while this week
- S. weather is still dry biased in the central and southern Plains and western Corn Belt for the next ten days and perhaps longer
- This includes West Texas
- Canada’s Prairies are advertised wetter for next week, though confidence in this change is low
- South Africa weather is advertised drier in the western summer crop areas again after “some” beneficial rain fell during the weekend
