WORLD WEATHER HIGHLIGHTS FOR JULY 26, 2023

• Europe rainfall looks aggressive over the next ten days with Germany and Belarus getting the greatest rain most often 
• Other areas in north-central and northeastern Europe will be wet enough to slow harvesting, but the moisture will be good for summer crops
• Some dryness will continue form Russia’s Southern Region into Kazakhstan and a few southeastern Russia New Lands crop areas
• China weather looks plenty wet except from central through western Inner Mongolia and a few neighboring areas where dryness and heat will prevail 
• India is still looking at  plenty of rain from central through northern parts of the nation with improved soil moisture likely in the Ganges River Basin 
• Australia weather will continue good for southern crops, but northern crop areas need rain
• Typhoon Doksuri was located 80 miles north northwest of Luzon Island, Philippines this morning moving northwesterly and producing 115 mph sustained wind speeds. 
• Typhoon Doksuri will pass to the west of Taiwan tonight and Thursday before moving into southern Fujian, China late Thursday and Friday producing wind speeds to 90 mph and another 6.00 to 15.00 inches of rain 
• A new tropical cyclone will evolve Thursday south southwest of Guam and will be closely monitored for possible impact on Zhejiang and Shanghai, China next week
• Argentina will be dry for at least another 10 days
• Brazil Safrinha crop harvesting is advancing well 
• U.S. weather will be typical of mid-summer with periodic showers and thunderstorms and warm weather dominating the coming week with a little cooling in the second week
  • Conditions remain a little too dry today from parts of Illinois and Missouri into the Dakotas and Minnesota, though partial relief is expected periodically by the scattered showers and thunderstorms
  • Western Midwest temperatures will be very warm for a few days stressing crops in the driest areas
  • Less heat is expected in week two of the U.S. Midwest forecast
  • Drying is likely in the U.S. Delta over the coming week
  • A good mix of rain and sun will continue to impact the southeastern states
  • Texas and southern Oklahoma will remain dry and very warm to hot for another week to ten days
• Canada Prairies showers will occur most often in the west, north and far east, although the second week will trend a little wetter in the south
