This daily podcast will provide insight to the day's most important weather issues influencing world market trading. It is designed to discuss all of the most important weather-related issues of the day and will help explain how those weather issues will influence production and help the listener make better business decisions whether in the commodity futures market or out of it.

WORLD WEATHER HIGHLIGHTS FOR NOVEMBER 9, 2023
- No changes in Brazil rainfall expectations were noted today with little to no rain through day nine in center west, center south and northeastern crop areas and then slowly increasing shower activity from day 10 to day 14
- World Weather, Inc. believes some of the advertised rain in days 10-14 in Brazil is overdone and another period of drier weather is possible following that bout of moisture
- Argentina’s weather is mostly unchanged today with a favorable mix of rain and sunshine in the west and south and more generalized frequent rain in the northeast that may saturate the soil once again
- Highest temperatures noted in South America Wednesday reached 114.8 Celsius in north-central Formosa, Argentina near the Paraguay border
- U.S. weather has not changed much through day 10 with restricted precipitation in hard red winter wheat areas and west Texas cotton country as well as the northern U.S. Plains and southwestern portions of Canada’s Prairies
- Rain has been increased in Louisiana during the second week of the forecast to help ease dryness, but drought will prevail from parts of the Delta into the southeastern United States
- U.S. Midwest crop weather will remain mostly good in the heart of the summer crop harvest region, although a little more rain was suggested for days 10-15
- Europe and the western CIS remains wet for the next ten days
- Southern India will dry down after Saturday
- China weather will remain mostly good for winter crops
- Northeastern China received more snow Wednesday and temperatures remain quite cold
- Australia’s forecast has changed little with some showers over the next ten days, but no generalized rain that would seriously change the nation’s soil moisture
- South Africa’s northwestern summer crop areas need significant rain to improve planting conditions
- North Africa will remain in need of significant rain for improved wheat and barley planting especially in Algeria and Tunisia
